A Connection to Airports, Business & Service
I'm J. Chase Harps, owner of Aero Grab & Go, operated by AeroSouth Ventures, LLC. My connection to airports, hospitality, and business began long before I started an unattended-retail company.
Some of my earliest airport memories were shared with my father at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. I was drawn to the movement, energy, and sense of possibility surrounding a place that connected Atlanta with the rest of the world.
I also grew up seeing entrepreneurship up close and learning that service businesses are built through consistency, attention to detail, and accountability to the people you serve.
Learning Business in Fast-Moving Environments
Years later, my brother and I had the opportunity to operate a business inside Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport.
That experience gave me a firsthand education in ownership, customer service, and the operational discipline required to serve people in a fast-moving environment.
My broader professional career has continued across hospitality, franchising, and multi-location operations.
Those experiences reinforced the value of strong systems, dependable execution, clear communication, and responsive relationships — principles that now shape how I approach Aero Grab & Go.
Discipline Beyond Business
Outside of business, martial arts has been another major influence on my life.
After more than 20 years of training — and now teaching karate — I have learned that meaningful progress rarely happens all at once.
It comes from consistency, preparation, humility, and showing up repeatedly, especially when the results are not immediate.

A Global Perspective on Convenience
My time living and studying in Japan also shaped the way I think about convenience.
I experienced a culture where quality food, beverages, and everyday essentials were often accessible quickly, efficiently, and with very little friction.
That experience stayed with me and helped influence the vision behind Aero Grab & Go.

Today, I am bringing those influences together to build a trusted local Smart Market company serving South Metro Atlanta and the greater Aerotropolis region.
